Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Total Burley Spray Foam Insulation website and any insulation work you hire us to do. When you use the site, ask for an estimate or schedule a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
If the written estimate, contract or invoice for your job says something different from these terms, the written document for your job controls.
What we do
Total Burley Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Burley, ID. We install spray foam, blown-in and other insulation, air seal attics and crawl spaces, put in vapor barriers and remove old insulation for homes and businesses in Burley and the cities around it. You can read more on our About page and see our services from the home page.
Information on this site is general. Every house is different, so what your job needs is set by what we find at your house, not by a page on the website.
Estimates and pricing
We give free on-site estimates with no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, such as the size of the attic or crawl space, how many inches of insulation are already up there and what shape the old material is in.
The price on your estimate holds for the period written on it. If we open up the job and find something the visit couldn't show, like soaked or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or hidden gaps, we'll stop and talk with you first, and any change in price is agreed in writing, by text or by email before we go ahead.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries and earlier jobs can move a date, and if that happens we'll call you as soon as we know.
Some work, spray foam in particular, means you, your family and your pets have to stay out of the house until the foam maker's re-entry time has passed, which is the point when it's safe to come back inside. We'll tell you that time for your job before we start, and you agree to follow it.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (208) 679-8041 as early as you can. If we've already ordered material for your job or the crew is on the way, we may charge for those costs, and any such charge will be listed on your estimate.
Payment
The amounts, any deposit and the due dates are the ones written on your estimate or invoice. Unless your paperwork says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may charge the late fees and collection costs listed on your estimate, as far as Idaho law allows, and we keep any rights Idaho law gives contractors to collect for work they've done.
Warranties and what we can't promise
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it. Any written workmanship warranty for your job is the one on your estimate or invoice, and materials carry their maker's own warranty, which we pass along to you.
Beyond what's written for your job, our work and this website are provided as is, without other warranties, as far as Idaho law allows. Insulation slows heat and air, but we can't promise a certain power bill, room temperature or amount of savings, because those depend on the weather, how you run the house and parts of the house we didn't work on.
Limits on our responsibility
We're fully licensed and insured, and we stand behind the work we do. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of a room, lost income or higher utility costs, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the job the claim is about.
We aren't responsible for problems that were there before we started, like roof leaks, plumbing leaks or mold, or for damage caused by work someone else does after us. Nothing in these terms limits a right that Idaho law says can't be limited.
If we disagree
Call us first. Most problems get fixed with a phone call and a visit, and we'd rather hear about it from you right away than find out later.
If we can't work it out between us, either of us may suggest mediation before going to court. Any lawsuit has to be brought in a state or federal court located in Idaho.
Which state's law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without applying any rule that would point to another state's law.

Changes to these terms
